WHY CHOOSE CRIME DRAMA?


We chose to use Crime Drama as the genre for our film trailer as it is different to what everyone else has chosen. Reflecting on last years choices of genre, from both of our previous groups, we all came to the joint decision that it would be interesting to create as well as aesthetically pleasing. Crime Drama is a combination between a crime and dramatic film. This therefore means it is a sub-genre. This will face us with a few challenges when creating a trailer but it will be individual, and stand-out from the rest. We chose drama as it typically has a low budget and would be manageable with regards to anything extra we need. We also chose the sub-genre of crime as we live in a place with a high crime rate.
